I’ve been having a long, slow-burning love affair with words for as long as I can remember. It just took me a while to admit I was, in fact, a writer and not just someone with an alarming number of notebooks and late-night Google searches about ‘how many apricots are needed to produce cyanide.’
Originally from Slovenia, I’ve lived in Germany, Belgium, and Brazil, and can now be found between Belgrade and Brussels.
It’s where I write dark stories with heart, pet my cats more often than they care for, and work as an Author Accelerator-certified book coach for fiction helping genre writers shape stories that bite, breathe, and linger.
My work has picked up a few awards along the way, and one of my stories made it onto LeVar Burton Reads, which is still mildly surreal.
Things I love (in no particular order): books that won’t let go, food that makes you close your eyes, troubled characters, and unexpected emails from readers.
