I’ve been falling in love with words for as long as I can remember. Words, crisp sentences, stories that let you explore places that didn’t exist before.
Despite my BA in Political Science and PhD in Anthropology of Gender, my career revolved around writing, albeit the kind that doesn’t always feed the heart.
I’ve lived in Slovenia, Germany, Belgium and Brazil. I currently live in Belgrade where I write full-time.
My short stories have been shortlisted/longlisted in various contests and published in anthologies:
Shortlist on Writing Magazine First Person Short Story competition 2023
Winner of the 2022 IndieReader Discovery Award for short stories
Quarter-finalist on the Screencraft’s Cinematic Short Story competition 2022
Shortlist and an honourable mention (top 3) on The Black Spring Crime Fiction Prize 2020
Longlist at ‘The 2020 Exeter Novel Prize’
Winner of Writing Magazin dystopian short story contest 2021
Highly commended in the Michael Terence Publishing Summer 2020 Short story competition
Among 12 winners of Grindstone’s 2020 Micro Fiction Prize ‘12 Apostles’
Shortlisted on Grindstone Literary Flash Fiction Prize 2019
Long-listed on Fish Publishing Short Story Prize 2018/19.
